Friday Night Movie = BOLT

This may the last weekend for outdoor movies for this season at the Schwarz home...so to close it out we'll play a kid-friendly movie for tonight (Friday night) and then go with some more serious stuff through the weekend.

Hope you can make it tonight as the weather should be pleasant.

Monday Night at the movies - outdoors!

It's warmed up again so we're showing the movie "Doubt" with Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman tonight, Monday night, at around 7:30pm when it gets dark. Tonight is special 'cause Jackie and Sara are in town, so feel free to come over to watch a flick and hang with Jackie who recently returned from Russia and Sara who came up for the long weekend.

Movies resuming on Sunday or Monday

Let's see how the weekend holds up, but movie night will likely resume on Sunday night. Then we've got a heat wave (in Seattle terms) coming on Monday which we'll definitely want to stay outside for a good flick.

Stay tuned.... ~martin

UPDATE: Enchanted April - Wednesday night at about 8:30pm indoors

Didn't get to the movies last night, and the weather is starting to turn a bit, so Enchanted April will be playing indoors tonight. This movie is one of those "feel good" movies and is a story of lost love and found love.

Give me a shout (or email) if you plan on coming!

SC wins! Sunday night movie = The Italian Job

What an exciting game to watch the SC Trojans pull off the victory at Ohio State...got me all pumped up for the night. And what a wonderful crowd we had over for State of Play afterwards!

For Sunday night, we're showing Italian Job for a fun, action flick that should keep us entertained for the evening. Looking forward to seeing you Sunday night at about 8pm when we get started.

Saturday Night movie: State of Play - after USC game

Saturday, September 12th...
After the USC-Ohio State game, at about 8:15pm or so, we're showing "State of Play" with Russell Crowe. We had a wonderful evening last night with the movie Emperor's Club with some of the neighbors over. Tonight we expect a few more neighbors and friends to join in the espionage thriller State of Play. See you tonight!

Movies continued next week...in the meantime!

The USC football season starts against San Jose State this Saturday at 12:30pm at the Schwarz INDOOR theater. We're expecting a good turnout, so you may want to ping me if you're planning on attending to make sure we have enough goodies to go around. FIGHT ON!

Due to the weather, we'll likely start up the outdoor theater again around Tuesday next week! Get ready for Knight's Tale which has been requested by a few people already...

Wednesday night: Two movies to choose from tonight!

Two movies to choose from tonight...a classic love story with Jimmy Stewart or a fun movie about sisters with Tortilla Soup. See you tonight - Wednesday night - as it's supposed to be decent weather before the rain hits us in the next few days. ~martin
