Friday Movie Night

Summer weather is back in Seattle!

We're going to watch "The Tourist" tonight starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. Should start at around 9pm tonight.

Movie Nights 2011 !!!

It's that time of year again to get under the stars and watch some movies with friends, neighbors, family and whoever else wants to join in for Martin's Movies!

Thanks to Jeff and Sherry Bouma in helping put up the screen this year and breaking in our first movie, "The King's Speech" last weekend.

Jackie and I are going to see if we can fit in a movie tonight, Friday July 15th, before any of the predicted weather comes in. Choices for tonight include: Brothers, Manhattan Murder Mystery and Red. And this year we're using my PlayReady device to take out any naughty stuff and keep things clean.

So if you want to catch a flick tonight, come on over to the Schwarz's at about 8:30pm for some fun outdoors!

Forever Strong - It's Remember the Titans but Rugby style!

Saturday night movie will be Forever Strong...a really inspirational story inspired by true events, based on a rugby coach who believes in turning out champion young men not only champion teams. If you liked Remember the Titans and Rudy, you're going to love Forever Strong!

Movie will start at about 7:20pm tonight. We watched a movie last night and although we have overcast clouds during the day, it was very pleasant outdoors. We'll have all the normal comforts, so come on over!

Letters to Juliet - 7:30pm Friday Night!

Italy, charming Venessa Redgrave (remember her!), a quest to find letter writers....all of this make for a great romantic comedy for tonight.

Come on over, bring a blanket (we've got some to borrow too), pop some of our popcorn, have a snack on the house, and settle in on cushioned chairs (yes, we fixed that!) for a treat of a movie tonight starting at 7:30pm.

The weather is going to hold, and should be a fun night out!

Movie Saturday Night - Summer is still here!

Movie night continues....looks like we're getting at least one more summer night in before the fall season kicks in. Come on over at about 7:15pm tonight to watch Avatar in 4D...That's right - 4D without special glasses since you'll actually be outside while watching the cool cinematography in this movie.

It should start getting dark earlier now so we can begin the movie a earlier than usual and get you into bed before 10am...

We'll have plenty of blankets, goodies, popcorn and cushions for the chairs to hang out.

God Grew Tired of Us, or North Face TONITE

What shall it be tonight? You choose! Starting at 8:30pm tonight. North Face, a great action/drama movie about a mountain climbing expedition (considered the best movie in this category), or God Grew Tired of Us about what it would be like to be a refugee and find yourself in America and how running water, electricity and other things we take for granted would be experienced!

USC Football - 8:00PM TONIGHT and OUTDOORS!!!

WOW! It's college football season, starting tonight with my beloved USC Trojans taking on Hawaii at 8:00pm at the Schwarz Outdoor Theater!

Join us for the inaugural event of watching live SPORTS in a comfortable outdoor setting. Today is warming up nicely with a beautiful summer night rolling in.

We'll have plenty of snacks and goodies available and even if you don't like football, come on over just for the fun of it!

Ghost Writer tonight!

Let's get one more movie in while the weather is sunny and the nights are warm! Tonight we're showing the newly released movie Ghost Writer. It's a story about a writer (a ghost writer) of a former UK prime minister who uncovers some secrets that puts his life in jeopardy...ooooooohhhhhh!!!!!

It should be a good drama/mystery/thriller to top off this week.

See you tonight 'cause it might be a few days till we get warm weather back in our town!
